BLOG : 4 Days Left to Submit Your Creative Works!

Want to have your work published with us? Concepts is accepting photographs, poems, paintings, drawings, short stories (just about anything that can be printed) for publication in an online collection of Expressions of Community. The deadline is September 1, so you have a few more days to submit.

The stories, essays and art that have come in so far have been beautiful to see, and we are so excited to share this collection once it is compiled. If you would like to participate, it's not too late! Check out the guidelines below.

Who can submit: Anyone in the Concepts community – Consumers, Personal Assistants, family & friends, surrogates, and staff.

What to submit: You can submit in any kind of art form you’d like. Some examples include (but are not limited to):

• A photo of your favorite place to hang out in your community.
• An essay of an interesting experience that you had.
• A photograph of you or any Consumer out in the neighborhood, working and living.
• A photo journal of your typical day. You can draw or paint something inspired by your day as well.
• A haiku about you and your neighbors.
• A poem reflecting your favorite things about your life.
• A painting or drawing of your neighborhood.
